I think we should discuss each of them. Many of them are of a 'clarify' nature, and we should certainly clarify the specification if it is actually ambiguous. Some of your recommendations are in the form of implementation suggestions which, while important, might not be appropriate for the HTTP/1.1 specification itself. There are a only a few recommendations that actually look like protocol changes, and in some cases, may be based on a misunderstanding of the spec rather than something that is incorrectly specified. In any case, your careful analysis and sample code are quite useful. Larry
