<BR> tag conversion

JTidy seems to convert <BR> to <BR></BR> rather than <BR/>.

While this is perfectly legal, IE and Netscape seem to render it as two 
breaks, rather than one. Is there a way to get JTidy to use the leaf format 
rather than the empty node format?
