using strong to indicate a title?

disclaimer: its an off the cuff idea only!

I have been musing on the idea of using strong to signify  the title part
of a heading that has title and subtitle:

<h1><strong>title</strong> subtitle</h1>

would be interested to get others thoughts on the pattern
