Update to " dowloading files "

To add to my previous posting:

I get this message:

=== Netscape subprocess diagnostics (stdout/stderr)===
I						     I
I						     I
I	stdin: not in compressed format I
I						     I
I						     I
===========================================

when trying several different ways,
it gets to the url for the file to be downloaded ,
then stops with this as a popup.

the file IS in compressed format.. ( .Z )
what is this saying????
