Dear Math and MediaWiki Experts

As some of you may have heard at the last W3 MathWG meeting, we are excited to announce that the native MediaWiki MathML generation method is finally integrated in the MediaWiki Math extension. It is a first deployed working version, and we would like to have some user feedback for this.

It offers a new way to display MathML from LaTeX in browsers on Wikipedia. The current adjustments to MathML support in browsers contribute to this.

The rendering method is located directly in the TeXVC module in PHP in the MediaWiki Math extension.

By using this mode as a setting, there are no further connections to REST-based services like Mathoid required.

It implements all macros and commands from the LaTeX subset used in MediaWiki called TeXVC.

Here is a feedback template, and you can find detailed descriptions for the user feedback.

We would be glad if you can participate and send us your feedback in the comment on phabricator or send by mail.

Thanks, Moritz, for the Reviews and Integration efforts, and Deyan and Neil for feedback to developments for intent generation so far.
