scientific literature on color contrast

Hi,

I am starting to do some scientific research on color contrast and would 
be very interested in paper recommendations, especially on the following 
topics:

- Impact of lighting conditions on lightness perception or contrast 
sensitivity
- Impact of color vision deficiency on lightness perception or contrast 
sensitivity

I would be very happy about any recommendations!
