Testing Labels

Simple examples of creating visually hidden labels for form controls that work in a screen reader. Each label, image alt attribute, or control title is prefaced with the word label, alt text or title to help identify it.

Hide labels using hidden styles

Enter month and year: label Select Month label Select Year

Enter birth month and year: label Enter month number 1 through 12 label Enter 4 digit year

Hide labels using offscreen styles

Enter month and year: label Select Month label Select Year

Simulate labels with empty images
