The organizers of a local charitable event are using a modified version of the HTML5 logo to promote a fundraising event, in possible violation of the HTML5's creative commons license. They have given attribution, but not an explanation: "The new Super Sunday logo is based on W3C’s HTML5 logo. Come to Super Sunday to find out why."
Is this adaptation/usage authorized by the W3C?
