A new major release of the NeOn Toolkit
(NTK) for ontology engineering is now available for download at
http://neon-toolkit.org/wiki/Download/2.3, where you can get
executable versions for Mac, Linux (32 and 64bit) and
Windows.
This version, which is based on the OWL API
(V3.0.0), provides much tighter support for the OWL2 specification,
and in addition includes over 30 plugins, which support a variety of
ontology engineering activities, such as ontology modularization and
customization, reuse, ontology search, ontology evolution, etc., as
well innovative approaches to visualizing and navigating
ontologies.
The NeOn Toolkit is freely available in
open source (under the Eclipse Public License, EPL) - the code can be
accessed on Source-Forge at
http://neon-toolkit.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/neon-toolkit/trunk/
More details about the NeOn project and the
NeOn toolkit can be found on the project and toolkit web sites,
http://neon-project.org and http://neon-toolkit.org.
We welcome feedback from the community, so
please report back any issues to us, preferably by means of our issue
tracking system, http://www.neon-toolkit.org/bugzilla/.
Thanks
The NeOn team
