Times New RomanPhotoStuff v2.11 Image Annotation Tool MINDSWAP Research Group, University of Maryland Release Date: Mar 15, 2005 PhotoStuff [1] is an image annotation tool that allows users to annotate regions of images with respect to an ontology (OWL) and publish the automatically generated metadata to the Web. It provides the functionality to import images, ontologies, instance bases, perform markup, and export the resulting annotations to disk or the Web. PhotoStuff has a variety of features including: * Ability to load both local and remote images and ontologies. * Multiple ontologies may be loaded at the same time. * Load instances from the Web to be used for annotation. * Easy-to-use launch bar that utilizes Google for image searches and Swoogle [2] for ontology searching. * Multiple region drawing tools. * Dynamically generated form interface for creating instances during the annotation process. * Submit annotations to pre-configured Web sites. * Export annotations as RDF/XML. * Export local images directly to a remote WebDav store. * Bookmark functionality for both images and ontologies.
