ACTION QT4CG-167-06: NW to write a PR to resolve #2169

Hello,

At the face-to-face, I took an action:

  QT4CG-167-06: NW to write a PR to resolve #2169 per GuntherRademacher 

But when I review the issue more closely, it doesn’t appear that it’s resolved that way. Mike argues for something quite different and Gunther objects.

I’m going to withdraw the action and put this back on the agenda, unless someone can point out how I’ve misinterpreted the comments on that issue.
