What shuttle and bus services are available in Redwood Shores?

Caltrain Shuttle Service

The Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (JPB), through its contract with the Parking Company of America (PCA), provides 3 pre-scheduled shuttles to Oracle's Redwood Shores campus. These shuttles transfer employees between Oracle HQ buildings and the Hillsdale & San Carlos Caltrain stations.

When do the shuttles operate?
Mornings: 6:50 am to 10:55 am Monday through Friday
Afternoons: 3:20 pm to 7:35 pm Monday through Friday

Where may I catch a shuttle?
Effective August 1, 2005, scheduled pick-up and drop-offs occur at the following locations:

  • San Carlos Station - Old County Road and San Carlos
  • Hillsdale Station - On east side of railroad tracks (Bay Meadows side)
  • 100 Oracle Parkway - Main door
  • 500 Oracle Parkway - Main door
  • Oracle Plaza - Main Door

Shuttle Schedules
 
Oracle Offices Shuttle (San Carlos and Hillsdale CalTrain)
Trains not serviced by this shuttle MAY be serviced by either the Clipper or Bridge shuttle noted below.
 
Redwood Shores/Bridge Shuttle (San Carlos CalTrain)
Makes four morning trips and seven afternoon trips, running to various offices along Oracle Parkway, Lagoon Drive, Bridge Parkway and Shorebreeze.
 


SamTrans REX (Regional Express) Bus Route

Oracle provides free tokens for the SamTrans REX (Regional Express) bus route. These tokens can be ordered through our Transit Ticket Ordering Site. Click link below for bus route information.

 

SamTrans REX
Provides service between Millbrae BART and East Palo Alto, with three stops on Oracle Parkway:

  • 100 (across from the driveway entrance)
  • 350 (across from the Oracle Conference Center)
  • 500 (across the street next to the park)

AC Transit's MA Line

As of March 20, 2006, AC Transit has added the MA Line, which now provides Transbay service between Union City BART and Oracle's Main Campus in Redwood Shores via Foster City Metro Center. The service is to operate approximately every 30-minutes and consists of five morning and eight afternoon peak period trips originating at the Union City BART, proceeding over the San Mateo Bridge to Oracle-Redwood Shores. Regular service on Line M (Castro Valley BART - Foster City Metrocenter - Hillsdale Caltrain) will remain unchanged.


MA Line
The route picks up passengers via Union City Blvd., Chabot College in Hayward and at Foster City's Metro Center before reaching Oracle's campus in Redwood Shores.
