karlcow has just labeled an issue for https://github.com/w3c/svgwg as "Agenda+": == Remove instanceRoot and animatedInstanceRoot? == https://svgwg.org/svg2-draft/struct.html#InterfaceSVGUseElement Judging by [MDN/BCD](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/SVGUseElement#browser_compatibility), the `instanceRoot` and `animatedInstanceRoot` properties have been removed in all current browsers.
