> Well you should be able to use feDisplacementMap with backdrop filters. The fact that you can't is down to usage. If it was more popular I imagine browsers would implement it. Advocating something else would get even less traction than continuing down the path we're at least partway down. You could always pitch in, browsers are open source so if you want some pointers to implement any missing functionality in Firefox I'm happy to help. I appreciate the nudge out of the rabbithole I've gone down today. Chrome on Windows handles the Liquid glass effects very well, but then my ios 26 iphone has required lots and lots of debugging in order to even get answers on why it's not working. But I've been thinking of different ways to scale down liquid glass in the design, and that seems to zoning in on: Only the Logo, not the header, being liquid glass OR Pre Rendering liquid glass to images and animating on scroll. https://ovit-test-1.myshopify.com/ You can see my test website here, glass works on chrome and firefox, but I wanted badly to get it working well on safari because of the high amount of customers on mobile. -- GitHub Notification of comment by Jofdt Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/svgwg/issues/1142#issuecomment-4803562925 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
