I've speculated about where we might be getting some new usage data from here:

This supplements evidence carried over from the 2017 edition from these sources https://raw.githack.com/w3c/sdw-sosa-ssn/usage-report/ssn/usage/index.html#table-datasets-for-2017-edition (though quite a few of these are no longer alive).
- can you confirm that these sources are correct
- can you suggest any others
- from your knowledge of these sources, can make additional entries in the 'Datasets' column in this table https://raw.githack.com/w3c/sdw-sosa-ssn/usage-report/ssn/usage/index.html#table-core-ontology-term-usage
