[webvmt] Status Update

1. Progress Made
    i. Presented dash cam accelerometer demo at OGC Testbed-21 Demo Day [1] on 6 May 2026 that shows how sensor data can identify collisions and find potholes with associated video, and how GIMI video metadata can be accessed with WebVMT in a web browser.
    ii. Integrated chapter on WebVMT support for GIMI video metadata on the web with OGC Testbed-21 GIMI [2] D206 Report including libheif integration, dash cam collision monitoring and metadata search use cases.
    iii. Presented video metadata tutorial and dash cam demo to OGC Code Sprint [3] at Geovation in London on 13 May 2026 explaining how timed metadata can quickly access relevant video content to protect drivers and maintain roads using WebVMT and GIMI.

2. Next Steps
    i. Create short video summary of Testbed-21 dash cam video analysis for OGC YouTube channel [4].
    ii. Continue participation in OGC Testbed-21 [2] to study collision monitoring use case using geotagged video from dash cam fleet.
    iii. Continue alignment discussions with OGC GeoPose SWG [5].
    iv. Continue participation in WICG DataCue [6].
    v. Continue collaboration in W3C Sync on the Web Community Group [7]. 
    vi. Continue community outreach and identify more activities to promote progress towards the standardisation track.
