Dear WG, I have a question about the media type registration for N-Triples. In the current N-Triples draft, application/n-triples includes an optional profile parameter, in addition to the version parameter. Could someone clarify the intended concrete purpose of this profile parameter for N-Triples? I also noticed that analogous profile parameters do not seem to appear in the media type registrations for N-Quads, Turtle, and TriG. I may simply have missed the relevant discussion, so I wanted to ask whether anyone remembers the rationale for including profile for N-Triples but not for the other RDF serialization formats. Of course, I would be happy to prepare the corresponding PRs once I better understand the intended design principle: whether profile should remain specific to N-Triples, whether it should be added consistently to the other media types, or whether some other criterion should guide its use. Best regards, Dominik
