6/\n\nPointer Events - Gesture support\n\nThe Pointer Events Working Group
would like to explore the possibility of adding native gesture support to
the web platform. Currently\, authors have to rely on third-party solutio
ns\, or roll their own gesture recognition from basic principles (tracking
individual pointers and analysing their movement to determine if they use
r is trying to perform a gesture or not).\n\nThis feature has been request
ed various times over the years.\n\nAt this stage\, we envisage a basic se
t of gestures such as "swipe"\, "scale"\, "rotate" that authors can "liste
 n for" - see https://github.com/w3c/pointerevents/issues/636\n\nAgenda: ht

genda\n\nWe would like to get feedback\, ideas\, use cases from the commun
ity\, to help the group make initial design decisions for the API.
