Hi all, I would like to clarify one point in the minutes regarding my comment. The note currently reads: Murata Makoto: I have no problems waiting for 3.4 and ISO 1.2 … the ballot will be closed in July, so it will take at least a year for 3.4 to be approved My intention was slightly different. I was referring to the ongoing DIS ballot of WCAG 2.2, which is expected to close in July. Based on that experience, my point was that ISO approval can typically be achieved within about a year (possibly sooner), rather than suggesting that it would necessarily take at least a year. Perhaps, my English was not good enough ;-( Also, in the same context, “ISO 1.2” was intended to refer to EPUB Accessibility 1.2, not a separate ISO document. So the emphasis was on giving a rough expectation based on recent ISO timelines, not on a minimum duration. A possible revised wording could be: Murata Makoto: I have no problems waiting for 3.4 and EPUB Accessibility 1.2 … referring to the WCAG 2.2 DIS ballot closing in July, ISO approval may be achievable within about a year based on recent experience I would appreciate it if this clarification could be reflected in the minutes.
