TPAC 2026

Hi all,

We've chatted about this a bit on calls, but the deadline to finalize this snuck up on me—it's tomorrow. Consequently, I'll be adding this to the WG agenda, but I also wanted to collect information here—for those who might not be on the call.

Current thinking among the chairs and staff is that we should (at minimum) attempt a joint session of the JSON-LD WG and the VC WG because of CBOR-LD. We've done these in the past with Web of Things, Social Web, and others. That coordination is just beginning and will likely sit within the VC WG schedule.

The larger question is around us carving out a day (or more) for JSON-LD WG work in person. I think we'll have more than enough to discuss—and would very much like to meet in person again (given how long it's been).

Who would be available for at least a day at TPAC 2026 in Dublin?

I'd love to shoot for a full two days but think we'd need at least 3-4 people in the room to justify the space (+ possible observers and remote participant) to justify the room/space.

Let me know if you're hoping to be at TPAC (or not), and we'll go from there.
