I can’t find an “Lc” Unicode character class so perhaps we just got that wrong and didn’t notice. We discussed it in a recent meeting, I'll need time to find which; the error was reported by my students. > I don’t understand the proposal to change @alias to allow name or string. Is there an issue for that? I don’t see any record of discussion of that change. We discussed that in a meeting too (one where Michael was present), to allow any XML tag to be an element name, not just the ones that ixml accepts (for instance "abc."). I will dig that out too. That same day I added it to my implementation, and this is the corresponding change to the spec. Steven > > -- > Norm Tovey-Walsh > CEO, Saxonica > >
