anssik: yes
PER transition request submitted
fjh: Vibration API fjh: PER transition request (members only chairs list) https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/chairs/2016JulSep/0017.html
approve Errata for Vibration REC via CfC? -
1. WebIDL reference updated to WebIDL-1
2. Page Visibility reference updated to Page Visibility 2
fjh: I think we need an errata for these two items for the existing rec
... do you agree?
... if we get the PER out then it will be the latest so this probably not needed, so lets not do this if the PER comes out
... will talk with Dom
fjh: question from last meeting
... Start wide review by horizontal groups or wait till more feedback gets integrated? (hoping to hear from Anssi)
... my sense is we should wait
anssik: asked Intel people to give feedback but not sure all has been given since summer
... most recent opened issue is informative
... cannot say we have given all the feedback yet, so do wide review later
fjh: that is my sense as well
... we will do wide review later
fjh: New generic sensor-based draft of proximity, https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-device-apis/2016Jun/0052.html
... Call for consensus to publish WD, https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-device-apis/2016Jun/0073.html
... Completed successfully
... next step to publish a WD
<anssik> https://rawgit.com/w3c/proximity/wd/releases/WD-proximity-20160714.html
anssik: using bikeshed tool so cannot do automatic publishing
fjh: I will make publication request for next Tuesday
anssik: I've checked it for errors already

fjh: have you seen fingerprinting issue; I have concern that if we remove everything related to fingerprinting there might not be much utility left
anssik: yes, always a tradeoff for sensors
fjh: I think this one should have more list/issue discussion
<anssik> For the Record: WD snapshots pass the current Pubrules checker (not the new one) for the relevant parts. Complains about Copyright Information section because the Pubrules does not recognise the permissive document license.
fjh: Wide review has been started
... see chairs list
... Wake Lock API request for wide review (members only chairs list) https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/chairs/2016JulSep/0015.html

Andrey_Logvinov: i will attend
fjh: is there more to discuss on this now?
Andrey_Logvinov: no
fjh: I won't be able to attend TPAC, but Tobie, Anssi, Dom and others should be there
