Global Digital Trust Awards

Hi all,
I'd like to share an initiative that may be of interest to this community.
Much of the discussion in standards communities focuses on architectures, protocols and interoperability. Those discussions are essential. At the same time, we believe the digital trust community can benefit from a broader collection of real-world implementations that demonstrate how these technologies are being applied in practice.
That's the idea behind the Global Digital Trust Awards 2026.
The awards are a community initiative jointly organized by DIDAS (Switzerland), TeleTrusT (Germany), DIACC (Canada), the Asia PKI Consortium, APDI (Asia) and FIDES. The winners will be announced during the Global Digital Collaboration Conference (GDC) in Geneva on 3 September 2026.
We're looking for real-world implementations of digital wallets, verifiable credentials and related digital trust technologies. Every submitted use case will also become part of the public FIDES Ecosystem Explorer, creating an open resource that anyone can discover, compare and learn from.
We're particularly interested in implementations in areas such as:

  *   Education & Skills
  *   Digital Product Passports (DPP)
  *   Data Spaces
  *   Digital Twins
  *   AI Agents & Agent Identity
  *   Trade & Supply Chain
  *   Human Identity & Personhood
  *   Healthcare
  *   Government Services
  *   Financial Services

The goal is not to promote one architecture, standard or trust model over another. We welcome implementations based on different technical approaches, including W3C Verifiable Credentials, ISO/IEC mdoc, OpenID for Verifiable Credentials and other ecosystems. By making real-world implementations easier to discover and compare, we hope to help the community learn from practical experience and accelerate the adoption of trustworthy digital solutions..
Submissions are free and open to organizations worldwide.
