Hi, folks, I'm cancelling this week's COGA Guidance Subgroup meeting due to a work conflict. Please use the time to complete the three asynchronous requests I sent on January 16th, plus a fourth request I added today about a different pattern. I'm also pasting below a few action items for specific COGA members, thanks. *Asynchronous subgroup review* V2 pattern about interactive elements: - Updated "Do" example of non-interactive element <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uAVRkNIgd3XlUIGQ6Gq-ZOcnwsFvIM9UJ1dNyHq8NSQ/edit?pli=1&tab=t.ht1sood1wqs8>, with gold star added by Global Inclusion feedback - WCAG compatibility <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uAVRkNIgd3XlUIGQ6Gq-ZOcnwsFvIM9UJ1dNyHq8NSQ/edit?pli=1&tab=t.ht1sood1wqs8#heading=h.f8a9qj712632> intro revised based on Global Inclusion feedback - How it helps <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uAVRkNIgd3XlUIGQ6Gq-ZOcnwsFvIM9UJ1dNyHq8NSQ/edit?pli=1&tab=t.ht1sood1wqs8#heading=h.q4yzd9bd39ho>: Any concerns about the introduction paragraph and two user stories? V2 pattern about page purpose: - All the illustrations in the What to do <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uAVRkNIgd3XlUIGQ6Gq-ZOcnwsFvIM9UJ1dNyHq8NSQ/edit?pli=1&tab=t.bsh23yg8s3cz#heading=h.dlcxb6p8f4s2> section *Action items for specific COGA members* - +Lisa Seeman <lisa1seeman@gmail.com> to rework the "How to test" <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uAVRkNIgd3XlUIGQ6Gq-ZOcnwsFvIM9UJ1dNyHq8NSQ/edit?pli=1&tab=t.ht1sood1wqs8#heading=h.o4vlkrh7n9y3> section in the V2 pattern about interactive elements. - +Gareth Slinn <gslinn@gmail.com> to adjust some illustrations as noted in the margin comments - +Beasley, Len <BeasleyL1@aetna.com> to look at scope of "Use clear visible labels" and suggest holes to fill before we ask the subgroup to review. - +Beasley, Len <BeasleyL1@aetna.com> to ask AG chairs why WCAG 3 accordions use sideways triangle and down-facing triangle. -- [image: understood.logo] <https://www.understood.org/> [image: ThroughMyEyesimage] *Julie Rawe* *Director, Content Strategy & Accessibility* jrawe@understood.org www.understood.org [image: facebook icon] <https://www.facebook.com/Understood/> [image: linkedin icon] <https://www.linkedin.com/company/understood/> [image: instagram icon] <https://www.instagram.com/understoodorg/?hl=en> [image: tiktok icon] <https://www.tiktok.com/@understood.org> Support Us <https://www.understood.org/en/donate> ------------------------------ Step into the world of students with ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia.
