[Time-sensitive] Two COGA requests, plus summary & minutes from December 8th meeting

Hi, folks, thanks for the good conversation today, and thanks to Becca for

Below are two time-sensitive COGA requests, followed by a summary and
minutes of the other things we discussed today. Please reach out with any

*WCAG 3 subgroup survey: Responses due December 15th*

   - *Background*
      - WCAG 3 subgroup work will resume in January.
      - The WCAG 3 subgroup participation survey

      the purpose of this work.
      - The survey also lists all the subgroups, along with the time each
      group meets.
      - Some of the changes to the subgroups:
         - Text and Wording: This subgroup combines Clear Language, Text
         Appearance, and Text-to-Speech
         - New subgroups
            - Conformance (Jennie plans to join)
            - Sign language
            - Single sense and contrast

*COGA feedback on APA paper: Input due December 18th*

   - *Background*
      - APA wants COGA's input on its new CSS guidance for animation that
      is triggered by user scrolling.
      - In particular, APA wants our feedback on 5.2 Timeline triggers
      <https://drafts.csswg.org/css-animations-2/#timeline-triggers>. But
      feel free to comment on other parts of the paper if you have
time to review
      them.
   - *Timeline*
      - APA wants our feedback "as soon as possible."
      - *Internal deadline for COGA members: *End-of-day Thursday, December
      18th.

*Welcome to new COGA member, **Tayef Farrar!*

   - Tayef (rhymes with "safe") is a senior experience designer at Aetna
   Health and is located in New York.

*COGA's holiday schedule*

   - No COGA subgroup meetings on December 25th or January 1st.
   - No COGA task force meeting on December 29th—too many people will be on
   vacation, including me. 😀
   - Lisa will decide if we have enough people to have a meeting on
   December 22nd—stay tuned!

*WCAG 3 draft conformance model*

   - Tomorrow's AG meeting will discuss a draft conformance model
