The purpose of this Success Criterion is to ensure a user can quickly determine the subject of a page or section of content and so decide if it is of interest to them. It indicates a high level structure exisits that can be easily understood.
This Success Criterion helps users confidently locate the information they require and ignore content that is of limited interest to them. It can reduce any requirement for repeated page visits or detailed scanning of text to determing if it is relevant.

Examine the content for obvious page subject structure.
Ensure the content has a good high level structure. Headings should be provided that describe the purpose of each page or section and that are easy to find. Use HTML Section elements and ARIA Landmarks to organise the page material and clearly seperate side topics.
