Hi all,

Ok folks, since the deadline passed this past Wed and I didn’t see any other nominations for co-chair other then Paul Boyes of OpenCar.   Did I miss any other nominations?

If I didn’t then there’s no need for a poll and therefore by default Paul is now the co-chair of our group along with me (still). I’ll make the change on our W3C BG Wiki page to reflect this change.

I look forward to working with you Paul and congrats!

Sincerely,
Adam

I second that nomination knowing Paul’s work at OpenCar which helped bring Mazda into the HTML5 family.  Paul has the kind of practical expertise and insight that Andy brought to this proposition.

Adam,

I would like to nominate myself for co-chair.   I am interested in co-chair because I and my company firmly believe in and wish to advance the goals of the group (http://www.w3.org/community/autowebplatform/automotive-and-web-platform-business-group-charter/).

Currently serving as Director of Telematics and Standards at OpenCar, I have a diverse background in software development, information management, enterprise architecture, api development and standards development.   The main thread is I like to be hands on and work up and down the technical and business stacks to see results.

Hi all,

Sorry for the delay in sending this email but last week I was traveling and since Sunday I’ve been down and out with the flu.  Still recovering.

So with Andy’s resignation of the co-chair position I wanted to send an email to the group for a call of nominations to find a replacement.

If you are interested, please send your nomination with a very very brief bio of yourself and why you’d like to be a co-chair.  Please send your nomination to this email list by next Wed Feb 5th at 5pm Pacific Time.  If there is only one person interested in the co-chair position by default they will become the replacement co-chair.  If there are more than 1, then I’ll send out a survey monkey survey and ask for votes which will end early the morning of our next monthly conf call on Tues Feb 11th at 6am Pacific Time.

Sincerely,
Adam
