Dear James:
We're writing to invite you, and/or other Apple staff, either in person
or virtually via Zoom, to a W3C Face to Face meeting concerning AAC
symbols standardization. Our Accessible Platform Architectures (A)A
Working Group Task force, WAI-Adapt, will be meeting at the Samsung
facility near London's Heathrow Airport on Monday and Tuesday, May 5 and
6. We've made great progress regarding supporting AAC in web content,
but questions remain, and your expertise is highly relevant. So, we hope
you will be able to join us--virtually or in person--for at least some
of the time.

* Monday will focus primarily on refining and advancing a registry
* specification in support of content authoring with AAC.
* Tuesday will focus on ascertaining that we have appropriately
* accounted for all user scenarios.
[Issue 240](https://github.com/w3c/adapt/issues/240) served as a
cornerstone of our deliberations over the past year (and more). So, we
would love to check-in. FYI, we are also inviting Anne van Kesteren
given his role in WHAT-WG and his central participation in conversations
concerning AAC in web content.
