Dear Livia, dear PSO Council colleagues, It is with regret that I communicate that my company is unable to provide a candidate to the New TLD Task Force. On this basis and considering that no other ETSI member has expressed interest on providing a nominee, I can confirm that no candidates are available from ETSI. Linda, I know that Stuart Lynn contacted oficially the PSO Council to ask for the nominees (I got his message to us) and therefore he was not short cutting us. What is difficult for me to understand is why he needs to directly contact the IETF (and not the other 3 organization members of the PSO) once the PSO is taking his request under consideration and therefore making the appropriate contacts within the organizations we represent to provide the nominees. Anyhow, the important thing now is for us to know who are the candidates proposed by the IETF and their affiliations, to select 2 of them (if there are more than 2) and to officially communicate the ICANN Director who the PSO nominees are. Have a nice weekend.
