Cookie domain

Hi all,

sorry if this is not the good place for such questions, but I need a
solution of my problem as soon as possible.

Does anyone know if a server that wants to set a cookie, say the server
http://server.domain1.dom, can set the domain to .domain2.dom?

I'll be very grateful to anyone that will give support.
