Versioning Teleconference
Attending: Geoff Clemm, Jeff McAffer, Tim Ellison, Brad Sergeant, Chris

Discussion of when to meet during the IETF. There will be Delta-V breakout
meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday, but not on Thursday. On Tuesday
afternoon, there is a meeting for Advanced Collections in Afternoon Sessions
III, and for DASL during Afternoon Sessions IV, so Delta-V will hold their
Tuesday breakout during the morning, then break for lunch, then hold the
official Delta-V WG meeting, then break until dinner, so people can attend
the advanced collections and DASL meetings, if they want.
Jeff McAffer confirmed that there will be a suite available for holding the
breakout sessions, but he won't know the room until he checks in. Jeff will
send an email message to the list with his hotel information.
Some discussion on updating the WG web site at www.webdav.org/deltav/ --
agreed on a policy that if you update a draft, you should update the Web
site. The web site is DAV-enabled (Apache, mod_dav).
Some discussion on history, and the need for a distinction between a history
resource and a versioned resource. Right now the draft does not have a
separate history resource, however Brad and Chris feel strongly that it
should.
Discussion on what should be the agenda of the official WG session.
Agreement that the first hour should be a goals presentation, and the second
hour should be dedicated to work on a couple of outstanding issues from the
draft. Some thoughts on topics to discuss: property collections, labels &
revision uniqueness. Ideal topics are those which are meaty, but which don't
require deep CM knowledge, perhaps only just broad WebDAV knowledge. Next
week we'll pick who will give the goals document presentation.
