Jim Amsden chaired the meeting, with Jim Whitehead recording notes. Approximately 65 people were in attendance. The meeting began with a presentation by Jim Amsden on the proposed charter for the DELTA-V working group (charters were handed out to all attendees before the start of the meeting). Following this presentation, there was open discussion on the scope of the working group, which was non-contentious. At the end of the discussion period, Jim asked for a show of hands for people who thought the IETF should have a working group in this area, and appx. 25-30 people raised their hands. When the attendees were asked to voice any objections they had to such a working gorup being formed, noone made any comments. For the remainder of the meeting, Chris Kaler gave an overview of the concepts and preliminary design that has been developed by a WebDAV WG design team investigating a versioning and configuration management protocol. There was significant Q&A between the audience and members of the design team.
