I'm really not convinced one way or the other about the need for a
repository resource. What would be convincing to me is a discussion which
goes, if we have repository, we can do X (or Y becomes much
easier/elegant), while not having X means ...
All I know for sure right now is that introducing repositories adds
complexity. It may not be much complexity, but it's non-zero. I'd like to
know what I get for this additional complexity.
