I'm right there with you, if we can have parallel checkouts and non-tip checkouts for level 1 clients. It sounds like a key issue is parallel development at level 1. I believe a Workspace can be treated at level 1 as the kind of checkout token that Chris wants, and optional helper methods can be defined that make it act like the checkout methods that Bruce wants. This would then all be compatible with the extended use of a Workspace at level 2 for revision-selection purposes. I'll try to write something up along these lines sometime next week. Cheers, Geoff
