Mideast leaders set for more intense discussions at historic Camp David summit

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat will meet again with U.S. President Bill Clinton on Wednesday at Camp David, as they attempt to end an Israeli-Palestinian conflict which has lasted more than a half-century.

Clinton wrapped up two sets of meetings with the Mideast leaders on Tuesday. The first set of meetings was to "get started" but the second set was "getting into the issues," said National Security Council spokesman P.J. Crowley.
