...ugh.  I don't think that is a good idea, admittedly I
have no better idea.  Make sure to throw a syntax error 
with SGML and XML parsers when they meet this gibberish.

Much later, I'm not aware that they intend to get a proper
MIME type for their document type, and besides the WHATWG
work will still take years.

Well, don't hand out "HTML5 valid" icons unless they are 
*dated*, e.g., based on the latest published W3C draft.

Not on fast moving "editor's copy" drafts by the WHATWG
consortium of the Web advertising and tracking industry.
