Contribution to the W3C HTML test suite

Hi, all.
On behalf of Microsoft Corporation, Openwave Systems Inc. and America Online Inc., we would like to contribute a set of HTML tests and testable assertions in support of the W3C HTML 4.01 Test Suite development.   Additionally this contribution has been reviewed by Opera Software Corporation and The Web Standards Project (http://webstandards.org/).

3. The Contribution
The Contributors hereby make certain materials, as described below, ("the Materials") available to the World Wide Web Consortium ("W3C") (MIT, INRIA, Keio) for use in supporting its activities. The Contributors hereby grant to the W3C a non-transferable and non-sublicenseable, nonexclusive, world-wide, royalty free license under any owned copyrights in the Materials to copy, publish and distribute the Materials in whole or in part under the W3C Document License (19990405 [1]), as well as a right and license of the same scope to any derivative works prepared by the W3C and based on, or incorporating all or part of the Materials.

THESE MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS," AND COPYRIGHT HOLDERS MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR TITLE; THAT THE CONTENTS OF THE MATERIALS ARE SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE; NOR THAT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SUCH CONTENTS WILL NOT INFRINGE ANY THIRD PARTY PATENTS, COPYRIGHTS, TRADEMARKS OR OTHER RIGHTS.

The Contributors agree that any derivative works of the Materials prepared by the W3C shall be solely owned by the W3C. The Contributors agree that all contributed Materials when published or otherwise distributed by the W3C will be governed by the W3C Document license (19990405 [1]). W3C will retain attribution of authorship and copyright ownership to the Contributors. Whenever modifications are made to the Materials, this fact, and the nature of the modifications, will be clearly signaled in the distributed version thereof. The W3C makes no a-priori commitment to support or distribute the Materials.
