Thanks again, Bill. Thanks for the example and the context. How 'bout
this: Probably the least intrusive way of expressing sparse matrices using
MathML constructs would be to represent each column (or row) vector
as an ordered pair of vectors, the first containing the indexes of the
nonzeroes, and the second containing the values. Any glaring faults with
that idea? The idea of a matrix being a vector of order pairs of vectors
is a little more confusing than necessary, but if they are buried deeply
enough in a library, that should be fine. Do you have an opinion on that?
