Here are the preliminary results of the straw poll on candidate requirements. So far 5 of the eight members have voted. The table below tabulates the results. Key S = Support U = Undecided A = Against S-X = Support, but out of scope S U A S-X -- -- -- --- R1 5 R2 5 R3 4 1 R4 3 1 1 R5 4 1 R6 5 R7 5 R8 5 R9 3 1 1 R10 5 R11 2 1 1 1 R12 1 3 1 R13 3 2 R14 5 R15 2 3 R16 4 1 From this, we can see that R1, R2, R6, R7, R10, and R14 are supported unanimously by voting members. R3, R5, R13, and R15 have some support and no strong dissent, while R4, R11, and R12 are contentious (they have votes both for and against). Finally, R8, R9, and R16 have no one who supports them. Each member's vote on each issue is shown below: Smith Hayes Horst De Roo Heflin R1 S S S S S R2 S S S S S R3 S U S S S R4 S A S U S R5 S S U S S R6 S S S S S R7 S S S S S R8 U U U U U R9 U A U U S-X R10 S S S S S R11 S A U S S-X R12 S A U U U R13 S S S U U R14 S S S S S R15 U S U S U R16 U U U U S-X Jeremy, Deborah, and Dan, if possible could you please vote tonight so that I can have a more accurate picture of the group's opinion before our report to the working group tomorrow?
