UAIG requires checkable object attribute for aria-pressed

Hi. UAIG says that object attribute checkable:true should be exposed
for aria-pressed both for IA2 and ATK what is unexpected by AT since
they want checkable object attribute on checkboxes only (see Mozilla
bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=825114). May I know a
cause why checkable object attribute was introduced?
