[en] Evaluating Accessibility: Meeting Key Challenges - Online Research Symposium, 16 November 2023

Hello,

The link to the time zone does not correct for Daylight Saving Time ending in the US (and possibly other countries).

For example, this is what I see when I use the time zone converter. There are two panels. On the left is the Event Time in CET (which is described elsewhere as UTC +1). The start time as 2:00 PM CET with an end time of 5:40 PM. The current time is shown as 4:41:40 PM - if the event were today, it would still have an hour remaining. The right panel has the converted time, with the start time as 7:00 AM CST with an end time of 10:40 AM. The current time is 10:41:40 AM. If the event were today, it would have ended.

[A screenshot for the time zone checker. It shows the title "Evaluating Accessibility: Meeting Key Challenges" The left panel has the event time, with the start time as 2:00 PM CET with an end time of 5:40 PM. The current time is 4:41:40 PM - if the event were today, it would still have an hour left. The right panel has the converted time, with the start time as 7:00 AM CST with an end time of 10:40 AM. The current time is 10:41:40 AM. If the event were today, it would be over.]

I do not have an alternative, however, providing inaccurate information could result in people not being able to participate due to incorrectly arranging their time.

All the best,

AJ Voraman (he/him)
