when I first logged onto what ever it was back in 1975 or so it had no
name (that I was ever aware of) and it was sort of self policed but it was
pretty much universally accessible to the 5 or 10 people with access to
the computers that were linked...it was about 1995 when the place went
insane with all the crazy mismatched forms and software....Gopher, heck
what about Kermit and Archie...?
