Re: URLIs for OWL 2 Primer syntaxes

Henry,

In the section "Status of this Document", the document invite you to
submit comments to:

public-owl-comments@w3.org

You are addressing the Semantic Web community at large here, who are not
necessarily the people who can take care of your problem. Besides,
having your request archived at the public-owl-comments list is good for
records, I believe.

With that said, OWL 2 primer is a W3C recommendation. It cannot be
updated easily. Any update requires a complicated process by a dedicated
group, and your suggestions are purely editorial and for convenience.

So, although I am not W3C staff and can't be absolutely certain of my
claims, I'd say it is impossible until a working group works on a new
version of the spec.

However, note that the W3C allows people to make and publish
translations of the specs, where the translated document can look quite
different from the original in some instances. So I believe it would be
possible to produce a non-normative version of the primer that would
include your requested feature (to be confirmed by a W3C staff member).
