I'm not surprised that these spammers would prefer private correspondence, rather than being publicly exposed for the frauds that they are. However, I stand by my statements: the spammers behind this fake conference nonsense have been hitting Usenet newsgroups for years and are now targeting mailing lists. Don't fall for the scam. ---Rsk
