Introduction - David Rooks, Segala

Hi all,

I'm glad to be involved in the group.

I am from Brisbane, Australia but now live in London, UK. (but i still call Australia home)

I work for Segala [1] as a Senior Standards Compliance Manager and Test Manager. I am actively involved in several W3C working groups including ERT [2], SWEO [3] & WCL [4]. I try and stay involved with the MWBP [5] but they have recently been having discussions that are beyond my area of expertise and i've not been able to contribute as much as i would like. I helped define the initial machine and human tests for the MWBP (this may have actually been formally contributed by Paul Walsh). When i'm not involved in W3C work i also act as test manager for the O2 online shop [6]. I have worked on behalf of Segala within O2 for over 3 years now and in my earlier days was involved in a considerable amount of mobile testing.

I look forward to being able to use my testing and mobile experience to make regular and worthwhile contributions to this group.
