What do you mean "same way"?

Several of us want to kill CONNECT in it scurrent incarnation, but 
Upgrade: is pretty much mandatory for 2.0 to rollout across 1.x.

Port 443 has always just been HTTP-over-TLS protocol. Irrelevant which 
version of HTTP was being sent over the encrypted tunnel. I personally 
doubt that would change.
