no xsl output when ö,ä or other german characters in a xml tag

Hi 
I´ve got a Problem with my XML/XSL code.
I´m using w2k with ie5.0 to view a little xml file with an xsl sheet
I have a Tag <name>Björn Berger</name> but with the xsl style sheet I´ve got
no output. If I use no xsl sheet the data is displayed correct. Any idea how
to fix the problem???
