Subject: Four SOAP 1.2 Proposed Edited Recommendations (Call for Review)

Dear Advisory Committee Representative,

W3C is pleased to announce the advancement of four SOAP 1.2
specifications to Proposed Edited Recommendation:

SOAP Version 1.2 Part 1: Messaging Framework (Second Edition)
    http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/PER-soap12-part1-20061219/

SOAP Version 1.2 Part 2: Adjuncts (Second Edition)
    http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/PER-soap12-part2-20061219/

SOAP Version 1.2 Specification Assertions and Test Collection
    (Second Edition)
    http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/PER-soap12-testcollection-20061219/

Please review these specifications and indicate whether you endorse them
as W3C Recommendations or object to their advancement by completing the
following questionnaire:
  http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/33280/soap200612/

These documents incorporate corrections to known errata to the
first version of SOAP 1.2 (24 June 2003):
  http://www.w3.org/2003/06/REC-soap12-20030624-errata.html

The most notable change is the clarification of the Request-Response
Message Exchange Pattern, in "SOAP Version 1.2 Part 2: Adjuncts."

Additional details about the transition are available in the
questionnaire.

The deadline for responses is:

2 February 2007 at 23:59 UTC Boston time.
