Martin, The XML Protocol WG has decided to close issue 270 [1] raised by you by applying substantial amount of editorial work in order to clarify the text [2], which for other reasons now is in Appendix B and not Appendix A. The rewrite also took into account contributions and suggestions by Asir S Vedamuthu [3] and Mike Champion [4]. The comments raised by Mike are logged as issue 341 [4] for which a separate closing text will be generated. You can find the revised text with change bars in [2]. If you cannot accept this resolution then please send your concerns to the xml-dist-app@w3.org mailing list [5] indicating the issue number of the issue in the subject.
