SOAP v1.1: Using SOAP for RPC and return value

Hi there,

After studying Section 7 ("Using SOAP for RPC") of the W3C Note of 8th 
May 2000 for SOAP v1.1,  I am a little uncertain as to whether or not a 
method accessed via SOAP RPC should return a response which always 
contains a return value (assuming no exceptions) in addition to any 
other other in/out, out parameters.
